The KidsTek student of the month for August is Matthew James. Matt is a freshman at Aurora West College Preparatory Academy. Typically, KidsTek does not enroll 9th graders because our “Introduction to Computers “course is a college-level class, and we always want to set our students up for success.
But, Matt was recommended to us by one of the counselors at AWCPA, and he has been a great fit for the KidsTek program so far. Matt came in to our class with such a positive attitude and always gives his respectful attention to KidsTek instructor, Katy Limes. He is interested in computers and says that, “Computers just get me!” When Matt gets older, he wants to be a video game designer.
In his free time, Matt enjoys watching and playing video games, trying to create games and doing research on YouTube.
