KidsTek Welcomes new Program Specialist

KidsTek Welcomes new Program Specialist

We are proud to announce an addition to our management team! Keysla Sano is our newest Program Specialist, who will support our programs at our Denver and northwest metro locations. Keysla has a background working both with children and in leadership positions, and will be a valuable addition to our team.

Keysla attended the State University of New York at Albany where she majored in Globalization and minored in Anthropology. Before KidsTek, Keysla worked with AmeriCorps NCCC FEMA Corps, a national service program working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. During two terms of service, she led a team of eight in disaster response projects throughout the country.

Keysla says, “I have always loved working with kids and developing relationships with them, especially when I have the opportunity to have a positive impact on a community. I want to incorporate the importance of gaining a well-rounded education to youth who do not have the resources others have.”

Keysla started teaching enrichment classes at a summer job when she was sixteen and continued working there until she graduated college. After working with AmeriCorps and volunteering with various non-profit organizations, Keysla realized that she wanted to do this kind of work all the time.

During her free time, Keysla enjoys staying active by playing sports with friends, hiking, and volunteering with local nonprofits. Welcome to KidsTek, Keysla!
