KidsTek Students Earn Business Ethics Certifications

The Better Business Bureau Foundation of Denver/Boulder has created a Business Ethics Certification Program for teenagers. The program is intended for teens to explore ethical dilemmas during their formative years and understand the consequences of choices they make as they begin to enter the workforce.

KidsTek’s Program Specialist Keysla Sano taught the BBB’s LIFT Business Ethics program this school year during our Business Computing elective at Denver’s North High School. Last week, three of our students: Kaley Barklage, Christian Quinones, and Tania Lazos-Munoz earned business ethics certifications from the BBB. Students earned certifications after completing an in-class curriculum and by independently completing a capstone project. The final project was a presentation where each student demonstrated an understanding of different schools of ethical thought through analyzing ethics case studies.

The students earned certification diplomas as well as the opportunity to use the BBB certification on resumes and social media. Congratulations, students!
