Last semester, Aracely, a sophomore at North High School, earned the highest grade in KidsTek’s Cisco Academy class at that site. When asked why she enrolled in the challenging college-level networking class she said, “I thought it would be a good opportunity. The world is advancing and I want to go with it.” In addition to a heavy course load, Aracely is involved in student leadership and served as the editor-in-chief of The North Star, her school’s student newspaper. She has just begun the second semester of the class and her enthusiasm remains high: “I just like how everything is connected. It’s cool how we are connected to China.”
