KidsTek Student Earns Net+ Certification!

KidsTek Student Earns Net+ Certification!

We want to congratulate KidsTek student Jose Rivera on earning a CompTIA Networking+ certification this week!  Jose just completed his junior year at Aurora’s Hinkley High School and was a student of KidsTek instructor Steve Kessler.  Jose is an outstanding student who not only takes many college-level courses throughout the school year, but will also take more courses this summer that will be earning him college credit.
The Net+ certification verifies that an individual has the knowledge and ability that is required to build, manage and protect a data network. Passing this exam will help Jose stand out on his college applicagtions next year, and will also give him a head start towards a career in the tech sector.
Jose has participated in a number of study sessions this spring in preparation for the certification exam.  He is one of the students who have taken the initiative outside of class, even on Saturdays, to study with Steve.
We’re also looking forward to seeing Jose next school year, when he enrolls in our Intro to Programming class at Hinkley next spring!
Congratulations, Jose!
