KidsTek high school students think way outside the box during instructor’s Nina Amey’s DestiNation Imagination Instant Challenges. These challenges promote creativity, teamwork and problem solving. This week, teams were given construction paper, tin toil, a fork, straws, string and a cup and were asked to build a structure that would support a paper cup. The team with the highest structure won. Not only do KidsTek students have the opportunity to earn CCNA certifications, they also learn valuable workforce skills in Amey’s classes at North High School, Aurora Central High School and Hinkley High School.
