KidsTek High School Students attend WICT “Tech It Out” Conference

Two of our high school students were selected to attend the Women in Cable Telecommunications “Tech It Out” conference on November 17th at the Infinity Park Event Center. This conference was an all-day event that exposed attendees to new types of technology, inspiring stories from entrepreneurs, and panel discussions with local tech luminaries. Fatima Prieto, a sophomore at Hinkley High School, said “I like how it was female-led. There are a lot of things in the world that are focused on men, and it was refreshing to see something that was led by women in technology.”

According to the WICT, “The WICT Rocky Mountain chapter is committed to advancing women’s careers and enriching their lives at all levels through personal and professional development and leadership opportunities.” KidsTek is proud to be included in such a meaningful event that truly encourages our students who attend. A huge thanks to WICT for helping women build a community of inspiring individuals.
