KidsTek Attends Girls in STEM’s “Mocktail” Event

KidsTek believes that providing a tech education helps students tap into their talents and “super powers.”

Last week, two of our students from Denver North High School, Niamh Baker and Esmeralda Gutierrez, attended a Wonder Woman-themed Mocktail and Networking event hosted by Girls In STEM.

This event brought together young women of all ages and allowed them to mingle, discuss ideas about technology, and plan for their futures. The keynote was provided by Pipeline Equity CEO Katica Roy, who encouraged everyone in the room to find her “super power” and follow their passions during her motivating speech.

Girls in STEM founder Wendy Merchant was excited to see so many engaged students as this young group of women discussed their future plans in the tech field.
