More than 450 high school women from all over Colorado participated HerWorld today, a one-day event hosted by DeVry University that introduces young women to careers in business, healthcare and technology. For the second consecutive year, KidsTek sponsored workshops at the annual conference by loaning computers to the ALICE workshop in which juniors and seniors designed computer animation. The day also featured a workshop about cybersecurity and a lunch session with keynote speaker Hope Golden, a senior business manager at IBM.
