KidsTek Advances in the Colorado STEMworks Database

Denver, CO – KidsTek is proud to announce that it has been advanced from Promising to Accomplished in the Colorado STEMworks database.

Launched last year as a partnership between The Colorado Education Initiative (CEI), Colorado Technology Association (CTA), and Change the Equation (CTEq) to identify and promote effective STEM education programs, the Colorado STEMworks database has proven itself as a powerful resource for Colorado educators, students, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) supporters. By making it easier than ever to partner with successful STEM programs, Colorado students are ensured access to the education and experiences necessary for success in Colorado’s increasingly innovation-based economy.

Since then, KidsTek has treated its inclusion in the Colorado STEMworks database as a badge of honor, as it allows the goals set by KidsTek to become a reality.

In a move that will further help meet these goals, KidsTek was recently reviewed by an independent group of reviewers from Colorado and by members WestEd and Change the Equation, and will be advanced from Promising to Accomplished in the Colorado STEMworks Database.

Announcement of this advancement was made at the STEM Champions meeting held on July 21st, in addition to programs that have been welcomed into the database. KidsTek is proud of its inclusion and looks forward to how its advancement will further allow its educational goals to be met.
