Each month, KidsTek staff choose one student to highlight and reward for their dedication, hard work and exemplary attitude in the classroom. This month, we’re recognizing Jovanna Cabral-Carrasco. Jovanna is currently a sophomore at Florence Crittenton High School in Denver.
As the school year begins, Emily Tow, KidsTek Senior Instructor, shared that, “Jovanna is a diligent, hardworking student. She has impressed me not only with her academic dedication, but also with her maturity, friendly and outgoing personality, and her persistence. Jovanna is not one to give up when the going gets hard! I expect great things from her and am looking forward to having her in my class.”
In her spare time, Jovanna enjoys relaxing at home, helping her boyfriend with homework and studying. She would like to graduate and pursue a career in nursing after high school.
