Instructor Spotlight: Katy Limes

This month, our instructor Katy Limes celebrates her third anniversary of teaching with KidsTek! Katy is an integral part of our instructional team, and leads three different courses: High School Intro to Computing & Programming, Adult CompTIA A+, as well as Adult Computing Basics. In addition to this, she can also be found refurbishing computers in our Denver PCs for People warehouse.

“In the short time I have known Katy, I have been blown away by her continual positive attitude, humility, and her eagerness to learn. She is a patient and excited instructor who is so invested in each of her students. It has been a joy to know and learn from Katy! “

– Alyssa Sellwood, KidsTek Program Manager

“Katy’s A+ class was very thorough, and you can tell she has a great passion and real-world knowledge of the material she teaches, as well as a great desire for her students to understand and learn the practical applications of the material. Her class helped me get a job in the IT support field. I will forever be thankful that she was so knowledgeable, helpful, and fun to have as an educator. Thank you, Katy!”

– Mark Kepf, PCs for People Tech Supervisor and A+ Class Alum

“Ms. Limes is one of the most knowledgeable people you’ll meet. She’s well-versed in many subjects from Pokémon to Programming. But it is her depth of experience and eagerness to pass it onto her students that makes her an A+ teacher!”

– Isaac Osei, KidsTek High School Alum and Current A+ Student

Congratulations Katy, and thank you for your hard work!
