IC3 Experts

KidsTek provides students at our elective class at Aurora’s Hinkley High School with the opportunity to earn an IC3 certification. IC3 stands for “Internet and Computing Core Certification,” and is a measure of basic computer literacy. Students have to be well-rounded in their knowledge of computer hardware, software, and the internet.

Before winter break began, KidsTek had three students successfully pass a series of exams to become IC3-certified. Students Arthur Nelson, Tylor Eitel, and Ryan Jacobs achieved the certification at the time, and we still have a couple of additional students who are attempting to pass the exams.

These students can add this accomplishment to their resumes and we hope this inspires them to continue to pursue their interest in the technology field.
