Students at Fulton Elementary School in Aurora made Halloween cards in Paint and Word this week to get into the spooky spirit of the season. These first graders were able to create the images seen here on a classroom smart board using “digital markers.” Each student went up to the digital whiteboard to add their own picture to the collage.
Fulton Elementary was recently awarded a grant to increase the amount of professional development for their teaching staff. On selected days, such as Monday and Tuesday of this week, teachers attend training for the full day while outside providers like KidsTek come in to the school to work with students in special programs for the day.
