KidsTek’s Student of the Month for November is 6th grader, Dayana Ortega, at Aurora West College Preparatory Academy. Each class, Dayana comes and works hard to complete the project. She is always excited to hear what is happening that day and shows up with a smile. One thing that makes Dayana stick out is her enthusiasm in class. Program Manager Meghan Lang, has enjoyed working with Dayana, “She is a student that I look forward to seeing each class and is always eager to learn. She also has fun with her learning and helps others around her have fun too.”
In her free time, she enjoys cleaning up around her house and listening to music while she works. Dayana shared that her favorite part about KidsTek is that she gets to learn new things on the computer and have fun while doing it.
She hopes to be a pediatrician when she grows up because she enjoys spending time with kids younger than her.
