Carlos is a junior at North High School and is a student in KidsTek’s Business Computing class. His fun, energetic personality stands out in class and is an important part of the classroom community.
Carlos says his favorite part of his KidsTek class is “being able to learn something that could benefit me in the future.” Students in Business Computing are currently working with Microsoft Excel as well as college prep activities such as scholarship essay writing. Last semester, students worked with Microsoft Word and participated in a soft skills program for career prep.
When he’s not in school, Carlos enjoys exercising and skating. After high school, he would either like to be a firefighter or find a job that lets him travel the world.
“Carlos is always a lot of fun to have in class and his positive attitude brightens the whole room. Learning is much more fun when you’re also having a good laugh!” said Senior Instructor Emily Tow.
