Alum Spotlight – Mariam Suleiman

Alum Spotlight – Mariam Suleiman

We love to stay connected with KidsTek students after they graduate high school! It brings us so much joy to hear about their life updates, successes, and questions.

Mariam Suleiman, a graduate of Florence Crittenton High School in Denver, took KidsTek’s Life Skills class in the spring of 2019 as well as our Microsoft Word class in the spring of 2020. “Mariam was always a hard worker, soft spoken, very sweet and kind to everyone,” said Meghan Lang, KidsTek Program Manager. Mariam graduated from Florence Crittenton in 2020 and is currently an ECE (Early Childhood Education) teacher at Florence Crittenton Services. Mariam speaks very highly of Florence Crittenton, “My job at Flo Crit is the job I want for my future, and I am so happy that I chose to be an ECE teacher. It was because of this school that I wanted to be an ECE teacher. I can confidently say Flo Crit helped me figure out what I want to be in the future.”

In her free time, Mariam loves to spend time with her family. She hopes to continue working as an ECE teacher and impacting the lives of students and children at Florence Crittenton, just as she was impacted as a student herself. She also added that, “KidsTek helped me with my future by listening, responding to my questions and by helping me set goals.”

KidsTek is proud to play a small role in helping Mariam with her pursuits. Congrats on all your achievements, Mariam!
